go buy christmas candy on sale. now.

so i always like to go after the holidays to drugstores/grocery stores and get candy on sale-- i love candy, i love it when it's cheap, and i love christmasy stuff so it's perfect. anyways, i just went to walgreen's and bought a bunch there. some was christmas candy i'd never even seen, like christmas colored nerds ropes and gobstoppers. anyways, i stocked up, and it was so cheap! i really can't get over it: packs of christmas peeps for 12 cents, big bag of m & m's 75 cents, gobstoppers 12 cents, nerds 12 cents, life savers and gummy life savers 74 cents, big bag of random cherry cordial things 62 cents, and big bag of andy's peppermint chocolates 75 cents. 

i'm so excited, if you can't tell already. i highly recommend stocking up on your own festive, cheap, delicious candy.

my older sister bought my parents "planet earth" for christmas, and tonight while watching the "shallow sea" segment we learned about the wonderpus octopus. hahahah what a cool name. pretty crazy looking too.

woman sets herself on fire in church parking lot...again

ok so i'm getting really into the "odd news" websites today. 

but wtf- this lady set herself on fire for the second time in the same church area... no one knows why she chose there. 

"A woman is in critical condition this afternoon after lighting herself on fire at a West Nashville church for the second time in two months, Nashville police and fire officials said.

Police are unsure why the woman continues to set herself on fire at the church.

“She doesn’t really have a vendetta against the church,” Foley said. “She used to be a member, but we don’t know why she’s picking this location.”..."

girl who has only eaten chocolate all her life

holy shit. ok i love chocolate but this article made me sick just thinking about it. 

"Rebecca Scowcroft, from Bolton, eats 15 squares of cooking chocolate and 10 chocolate fingers every morning while her family opt for a more conventional breakfast of toast, eggs and cereal. 

The schoolgirl, who is in perfectly good health, eats the same for lunch and Rice Krispies for dinner - but only if they are mixed in bowl of melted chocolate. 

Rebecca suffers from a condition known as extreme food phobia, which doctors estimate affects at least one child in every school in Britain.

They say that sufferers react to new foods in the same way that a normal eater would to someone putting a sheep's eye in their sandwich and forcing them to eat it.

No one is more fed up with the chocolate-only diet than Rebecca, who says it is making it difficult for her to lead a normal life.

"I don't just choose to eat that kind of stuff," she says in a forthcoming ITV1 documentary called My Child Won't Eat. "It's not because I'm being awkward. Whenever I try any food I always get scared."..."

i am obsessed with all things miniature. and i just found this amazing japanese website that sells all this miniature food, clothes, accessories... i think it's meant for like dolls and stuff, and i have no idea what i would use it for if i got it but it's fucking adorable. haha. 

i also found this other site where people put up pictures of their little miniature stuff. the ones with dolls are really creepy-- but they are still fucking adorable.
